Congrats subway, you get the dumbest post award I was going to address the hitting the pitcher argument but unreal beat me too it. Our pitcher got hit in the throat in Tampa. Batter said all the right things, "my bad"...."trying to hit the hole"...etc. We played them again in Border Wars....same batter hit one of the pitching rubber and flapped his gums all the way down the 1st base line. He knew where he was hitting it, it was his choice to try and blow it up the middle. Sure accidents happen...Bobby Brewster played for me for years, had the best bat control I ever seen. He hit a couple at pitchers but 90% were 5 feet to his right or left. Game is too easy for a pitcher to have 20 balls a game hit at him.
